Taking good care of our scholarship holders and alumni is important to us here at DAAD. To this end, we are expanding the range of services we offer to take even better care of your needs.
This is why all DAAD scholarship holders and alumni are now being offered their own free web-based DAAD e-mail account. This e-mail account is intended to make it easier for current and past scholarship holders to communicate with each other, and to be the main way for the DAAD to keep you updated with news and information. You can also use this e-mail account for all of your other electronic communication needs.
The benefits at a glance:
- Be contactable throughout your time as a scholarship holder (for example to receive invitations to meetings for scholarship holders)
- Be contactable after your time as a scholarship holder (for example for invitations to alumni events and regular information about the DAAD alumni network)
- Receive the DAAD’s electronic newsletter
- Information about job opportunities
- Regular information about the DAAD alumni network
- All DAAD scholarship holders and alumni share the same mail domain
(@daad-alumni.de)
- Redirect function, spam filter and antivirus filter
- A mailbox with 1 gigabyte of storage space
The new e-mail service is free of charge and also allows you to redirect incoming e-mails to your existing e-mail account. To use the e-mail service, please register on
http://webmail.daad-alumni.de/reg/index.php
with your DAAD registration number (PKZ, please refer to your award letter) and your date of birth. Hints and tips on using the service are displayed on the site immediately after registration, or can be found in the helpdesk section using the top menu bar in your e-mail account.
If you have any technical questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact one of our e-mail service support staff (support@daad-alumni.de).
