DAAD offers scholarships for a two-year programme “Masters of Arts in German Studies” at the University of Nairobi, Department of Linguistics and Languages. The intake is biannually; the next programme starts in September 2008. Next application deadline is end of March, 2008, at the DAAD Regional Office in Nairobi.
Degree Curriculum (selection):
Analysis of literary and non-literary texts, linguistic theories, history of literature, history of the german-speaking European countries, translations etc.
Requirements:
- B.A./B.Ed./first degree, at least Second Class Honors, Upper Division and German as a subject or equivalent knowledge of the German language
