Participation of DAAD alumni and alumni of German universities at scientific conferences/seminars/workshops:
DAAD can support the participation of DAAD alumni and/ or other alumni of German universities as well as German speakers at scientific events such as conferences, workshops, symposiums etc..
Who can apply?
Applications can only be submitted by one or more members of the event organising committee (alumni or other). Individual applications from alumni are not possible.
Funding:
-Travel expenses
-Accomodation
-Meals
Deadline: Minimum 6 weeks prior to the event but preferably until December of the year before the event.

Major Alumni Seminars organised by DAAD:
Each year DAAD organises subject-specific or interdisciplinary alumni seminars in various countries. The events are generally organised by DAAD in cooperation with the German diplomatic representations, local DAAD Lektors, the Goethe Institutes or alumni associations.
